Science with flair
Science with flair
My mission
I believe science should be fun and accessible for everyone. Anyone can understand science.
As a doctoral researcher myself, I’ve witnessed firsthand the culture of exclusivity that permeates academia and drives people away.
I’m here to change that. As Professor Diva, I teach science in a truthful yet entertaining fashion that encourages inclusivity, curiosity and excitement.
I make science accessible
to a wide audience…
… by explaining complex topics simply, and helping scientists reach everyone.
For example, I made this video with the Quantitative Cell Biology Center of the University of Illinois.
They wanted to document their revolutionary approach to cell imaging for cancer research.
Did you know you can study black holes using water?
I showcased the work of the physicists behind the Gravity Lab at the University of Nottingham, through a series of videos highlighting their research.
If you thought the role of fertilizers cannot be explained through heels, you were wrong.
I helped the start-up Foogly, founded at Princeton, highlight their innovative process of creating fertilizer from food waste.
“He’s an incredible science communicator, with the ability to explain very complicated concepts with flair and style! We had the most amazing time filming with Professor Diva in our labs.”
—Ilaria Dimming, researcher in the Gravity Lab at the University of Nottingham
